Anatomy of a Poncho
There are 3 visually distinct types of ponchos. Looking at the names chosen by the Weaver, it's pretty clear that the distribution is anything but uniform
Each poncho has 3 slots - top | middle | bottom - where the Weaver has placed different ( most of the time ) patterns.
There are 15 different pattern sets in total, each represented by a symbol and named after an animal.
We're not entirely sure if these symbols have a deeper meaning or are simply the ramblings of a disturbed artisan.
Check out the rarity tables down at the bottom of this page for a more detailed view.
The color pallette is yet another pull from the shelve marked 'Outlandish'. We figured this has something to do with the Weaver's obsession for the Sun.
Check out the 12 color schemes and their distribution below
Initially we decided all ponchos will have ornaments attached to them. Right after we pushed the Beads,
Skulls and Tassels ornaments into
the Weavers config system, things went off the rails.
He locked us out of the system completely and blasted 99 Problems by Jay-Z in all the speaker in the office. The fickle beast added ornaments to, you guessed it, 99 of the ponchos and even managed to damage a few. It seems you can have too much of a good thing...
